This notice describes the Wooden Grove website and its woodworking plugin.

Information the service uses

Sign-in supplies a site-scoped account identifier and, when available, your email. We use the identifier to separate your workshop from other accounts and may display your email so you can check which account is signed in.

Your saved workshop can include wood dimensions, species labels, storage locations, notes, project reservations, build progress, advanced project data, uploaded photos and unfinished photo reviews. Please photograph the wood rather than people, documents or other sensitive surroundings.

Where data goes

The website runs on OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare database and object storage. These providers process information needed to host, authenticate and operate the service. Operational logs can include request and error information.

When you use the plugin, ChatGPT sends tool arguments to Wooden Grove and receives account-specific tool results. The plugin returns catalog records, project matches and build information. It does not automatically retrieve your conversation history or photos attached to a chat. ChatGPT’s handling of your chat is governed by your OpenAI settings and policies.

The optional website AI analysis sends the selected photo, unit choice and ruler description to the OpenAI API only when you request analysis. The request uses store:false; that does not promise zero provider retention. The core ChatGPT plugin does not make a separate AI API call. API analysis availability and billing are separate from ChatGPT usage.

Use and retention

Workshop data is used to provide your catalog and project tools. The application does not implement advertising tracking or sale of workshop data. Saved records remain until removed or a deletion request is completed. Photo uploads may remain after a catalog item is removed, including when attached to a build or pending review. Provider backups and operational records may have separate retention; we do not promise immediate erasure from those systems.

Your controls

Use Download measurements in the workshop to export your catalog metadata. This export contains photo references, not photo files. You can edit or remove catalog entries, manage builds and discard pending reviews in the website. Older recovery drafts and advanced-project backups can remain on your device or in downloaded files.

For a complete account export or deletion, contact support. We will verify your connection to the account before acting. Disconnecting the plugin stops future connected tool access but does not itself delete saved workshop data.

We will update the effective date when this notice changes. Service provider policies: OpenAI and Cloudflare.
